Howden Tiger, the reinsurance and capital advisory arm of Howden Group, has announced the appointment of Carrie Byler as managing director, head of US general casualty.
Prior to joining Howden Tiger, Byler served as a senior executive at Guy Carpenter. In her new role, Byler will lead the US general casualty practice, take on senior account responsibilities involving casualty and professional lines, and more. She will report to Josh Everdell, global head of casualty for Howden Tiger.

Weston Vosburgh, who joined in July 2023 to build out the company’s workers’ compensation practice and serve as a senior account executive for casualty lines.
Chris Bilski, who joined the company in July 2023.
Steven Hanke, who joined in March 2023.
David Baruch, who joined in February 2023.
Last week, Howden Tiger announced the appointment of Bhaskar Chattaraj as chief science officer. Last month, the company announced the appointment of David Shalders as chief operating officer.
