Hamilton, the re/insurance group, has appointed Bradley E. Cooper to its board of directors as a shareholder director, nominated by Hopkins Holdings, LLC, effective June 1, 2024. He will be succeeding Antonio Ursano.
Bradley E. Cooper is currently a managing partner at Capital Z Partners, a private equity fund that focuses on investments in the financial services sector. Cooper brings extensive board experience with both publicly traded and privately held companies, having served on and chaired numerous committees.
Before founding Capital Z in 1990, Cooper worked as an investment banker in the Financial Institutions Group of Salomon Brothers, now part of Citigroup. His board experience includes a 16-year tenure with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Metro New York, where he also served as chair for three years.
During his over three-decade career at Capital Z Partners, Cooper has invested in a variety of companies, such as Marble, Raze Sports, and Mulberry. His early professional roles include serving as an analyst at Salomon Brothers from 1988 to 1990.
Cooper holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business and has been a member of the Ross School Advisory Board since October 2017. He also holds a certification as a Certified Hockey Professional from the Business of Hockey Institute.
