TMG Insurance Services, LLC, also known as The Mutual Group, has announced the appointment of Coleman Johnson as its new Senior Vice President and Chief Underwriting Officer. Johnson brings over 20 years of leadership experience in underwriting, having previously held senior roles at several prominent national insurance carriers.
In his new position, Johnson will be responsible for overseeing the strategy, governance, and performance of The Mutual Group’s underwriting operations. His extensive expertise is expected to enhance the company’s profitability and drive growth for both The Mutual Group and its mutual insurance members.

Prior to joining The Mutual Group, Johnson served as the Chief Underwriting Officer for the US and Bermuda at Canopius. His distinguished career also includes notable roles at Liberty Mutual, The Hanover Insurance Group, and The Hartford.
