London-based reinsurance technology platform Supercede has appointed Deeva Chamdal as its new technical reinsurance consultant.
Chamdal, who will report to Supercede’s head of client success, Jess McCausland, will play a key role in client engagement. Her responsibilities include collaborating closely with both prospective and current clients to understand their unique needs and utilizing her technical expertise to enhance their experience on the Supercede platform.
In addition, Chamdal will serve as a conduit for customer feedback, relaying insights to Supercede’s product development team to help guide future platform enhancements.
Chamdal brings extensive industry experience, having previously worked at Liberty Specialty Markets as a reinsurance asset handler for three years, following an earlier role as a reinsurance technician with Neon.
Supercede also recently announced another significant addition to its team, appointing Sarah Pearson as its inaugural senior operations manager in August. Pearson, who joins from carbon data specialist SparkChange, will report to Supercede co-founder and president, Ben Rose.
Before her new role at Supercede, Pearson held the position of chief of staff at SparkChange since 2020. Her background also includes experience with IT business Global Switch and carbon emissions company C2Zero.
