Miller, a specialist re/insurance broker, has announced the appointment of Edwin Staudenmaier as Head of Information Security. Effective immediately, Staudenmaier will oversee the firm’s information security strategy and operations.
With over a decade of experience in cybersecurity, Staudenmaier brings a wealth of knowledge from his tenure at organizations such as Deloitte and Crossword Cybersecurity Consulting. His expertise includes defining cybersecurity strategies, implementing target operating models, and crafting risk management solutions tailored to diverse organizational requirements.
Throughout his career, Staudenmaier has held key roles in cybersecurity program management, policy development, and third-party risk assessment. He has also played a pivotal role in advancing operational processes and developing training initiatives. Staudenmaier’s professional qualifications include proficiency in security frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001:2022, and the NCSC Cyber Assessment Framework.
Prior to joining Miller, Staudenmaier served as Associate Director at SysGroup, a position he assumed after transferring from Crossword Consulting in late 2024. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at Deloitte, where he specialized in IT risk advisory, audit, and controls remediation across multiple jurisdictions, including the UK, Ireland, and South Africa.
Based in London, Staudenmaier will lead initiatives to enhance Miller’s cybersecurity measures and manage stakeholder relationships.
