FBinsure, a division of Patriot Growth Insurance Services, LLC, has announced the appointment of Tom Rogers as its new chief executive officer. Rogers, who has been with FBinsure for 24 years, steps into the role following his tenure as chief growth officer.
This leadership transition follows the planned departure of longtime CEO Russel Martorana, who will now serve as a consultant after 30 years at the helm. Additionally, executive vice president Mark Cuddy will also transition into a consulting role to support the company during this period of change.
Rogers joined FBinsure in 2001 and has played a key role in managing sales and technology functions. Over the years, his responsibilities expanded to include leadership initiatives centered on company culture, core values, and business growth. His appointment reflects the culmination of a decade-long succession strategy designed to ensure sustained organizational growth and stability.
Martorana, who has been with FBinsure since 1979, will continue his involvement as a partner and consultant, offering mentorship and strategic guidance. Cuddy, who joined FBinsure in 2011 following the merger of Attleboro Agency Richardson-Cuddy Insurance, will also remain as a consultant. With four decades of industry experience, Cuddy will contribute to FBinsure’s ongoing strategic development.
In his new capacity as CEO, Rogers will lead FBinsure alongside company president Nicole Martorana. The firm currently employs 140 professionals and serves a client base of more than 35,000 property and casualty insurance clients across Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island through 13 locations.
FBinsure operates offices in Taunton, Attleboro, Middleboro, Dighton, Rehoboth, New Bedford, Dartmouth, Fall River, Avon, Waquoit, Providence, Cumberland, and Warwick.
In 2024, both Patriot and FBinsure expanded their presence through the acquisition of Rhode Island-based Maggiacomo Insurance, Hanuschak Insurance, and Gilmartin Insurance. These acquisitions mark FBinsure’s 17th expansion since 2008, enhancing its footprint in Rhode Island and strengthening Patriot’s property-casualty insurance capabilities across New England.
