Ardonagh Group Launches Ardonagh Intelligence To Drive Data-Driven Innovation

The Ardonagh Group has unveiled Ardonagh Intelligence, a new division dedicated to harnessing robotics, machine learning, and data enrichment across its businesses.

This initiative builds upon six years of investment in data capabilities, bringing together the company’s technological expertise under a unified framework.

Ardonagh Intelligence will consolidate insights from the Ardonagh Analytics Lab in Mullingar, Ireland, and Ardonagh Portfolio Solutions, established in 2019 to leverage data analytics for group placement strategies.

Launched in 2021 with support from the Irish Government through IDA Ireland, the Analytics Lab employs over 100 data scientists and programmers.

The introduction of Ardonagh Intelligence coincides with the company’s strong financial performance in 2024. Ardonagh reported an adjusted EBITDA of $683.4 million, reflecting a 31.2% increase from the previous year, while reported income grew by 24% to $1.98 billion. Additionally, the company expanded its workforce by nearly 1,700 employees and launched its inaugural graduate scheme.

Leading the new division is Managing Director Sami Sulaiman, supported by Ian Donaldson, a key figure in digital insurance distribution, who will serve as chair. Ian Cooper, currently Ardonagh Advisory Data & MI Director, will transition to the new unit, extending the data expertise developed in the UK to commercial brokers worldwide.

Sulaiman, who joined Ardonagh in October following its acquisition of PSC Insurance Group, underscored the importance of data-driven insights and AI-powered automation in enhancing business performance.

Donaldson emphasized the transformative impact of digital insights across Ardonagh’s portfolio, highlighting the benefits of a unified strategy in improving operational efficiency.

Ardonagh Intelligence represents the company’s ongoing commitment to integrating data and analytics across its operations, reinforcing its market position and driving greater efficiencies. The new division is expected to deliver long-term value by optimizing decision-making, refining placement strategies, and enhancing risk analysis across the business portfolio.
