Relation Insurance Services has announced the acquisition of the assets of True-Course Aviation Insurance Services Inc., a specialized aviation insurance brokerage based in Camarillo, California. The deal officially closed on March 31, 2025. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
True-Course brings deep expertise in aviation insurance, serving a broad range of clients including aircraft manufacturers, flight schools, and corporate aviation operators. Following the acquisition, company owner Alejandro Galioto will continue with the business and spearhead the expansion of Relation’s aviation insurance practice.
This acquisition marks the latest move in Relation’s ongoing strategy to grow its footprint in specialty and regional markets.
In August 2024, Relation also acquired the assets of Carolina Heritage Insurance, a Hilton Head Island, South Carolina-based firm specializing in high-net-worth personal insurance lines. Founders John Alagna and Cara Crouch remained with the company post-acquisition to lead local operations.
Additionally, Relation completed the acquisition of First Insurance, an affiliate of FirstBank Inc., located in Durant, Oklahoma. The transaction closed on April 1, 2024, with Dina Wagner continuing in her leadership role at the Durant office. First Insurance offers a diverse portfolio of coverages including commercial, personal, farm and ranch, and manufacturing insurance.
These strategic acquisitions underscore Relation’s commitment to enhancing its offerings and expanding its reach across key markets.
