Button Finance Secures $5M In Series A Funding Round

New York – Based Button Finance, a FinTech company revolutionizing home equity lending through AI-driven technology, has announced the successful close of a $5 million Series A funding round. The investment will support the firm’s continued platform expansion and the development of new product offerings.

Founded in 2019, Button Finance leverages artificial intelligence to offer homeowners a fully digital, streamlined process for unlocking their home equity. The platform has gained traction for its speed and accessibility, particularly among borrowers traditionally underserved by legacy financial institutions.

The Series A round was led by Hildene Capital Management, a structured credit-focused asset manager with $17 billion in assets under management. Existing investors also participated in the round, though their identities were not disclosed.

At the core of Button Finance’s offering is a proprietary AI-powered underwriting engine that significantly shortens the time to funding—enabling some homeowners to access liquidity in as little as five days. This efficiency has become especially appealing in the current economic climate, where speed and simplicity are paramount.

The newly raised capital will be used to strengthen Button Finance’s technology infrastructure, enhance its digital capabilities, and expand its product suite. The company also plans to broaden its distribution footprint in the latter half of 2025 to meet rising demand for innovative home equity solutions.

“This strategic $5 million raise allows us to accelerate growth while preserving shareholder equity,” said a spokesperson for Button Finance. “In the past two years, we’ve grown our team to over 60 employees and nearly tripled our monthly loan volume in just six months. We’re only getting started. The second half of 2025 will bring new products and expanded distribution channels to meet the explosive demand we’re seeing in the market.”
