Broadstone Strengthens Non-Life Actuarial Expertise
Broadstone has appointed Cormac Bradley as senior actuarial director within its insurance, regulatory and risk division.
Bradley, who has held senior actuarial positions at Direct Line Insurance Group and Willis Towers Watson, brings nearly three decades of industry experience. In his new role, he will support re/insurers, captives, MGAs and London Market firms with risk and capital management, reserving, and chief actuary responsibilities.
Crawford Names UK Agriculture Lead
Crawford & Company has appointed Andrew Shaw as head of agriculture for the UK, further expanding its ARIEL (agriculture, rural industries and estates losses) practice.
Shaw, who previously served as interim head of agriculture and head of property claims, will lead the dedicated rural team and oversee the firm’s growing focus on agricultural and rural sector claims.
RSA Creates New Distribution Role in Specialty Lines
RSA Insurance, part of Intact, has introduced a newly created role of chief distribution officer for UK & Europe, Specialty Lines, appointing Tom Argentieri to the position.
Argentieri joins from Allianz, where he led the London marine hull team, bringing more than 15 years of experience in global specialty markets and MGA development. Reporting to Nadia Côté, CEO Europe and head of Specialty Lines UK, he will be responsible for consolidating broker relationships and advancing RSA’s regional distribution strategy.
Kennedys Expands Senior Ranks Amid Growth
Global law firm Kennedys has promoted 76 senior lawyers, with 31 advancing to legal director and 45 to senior associate. This round follows the firm’s largest partner promotions since 2022 and marks the sixth consecutive year of double-digit partner growth, reflecting its continued global expansion.
