Specialist Risk Group (SRG) has announced the opening of a new office in the St Botolph Building, EC3, consolidating teams from multiple locations into a single hub in the heart of the City of London.
Located near the Lloyd’s market, the St Botolph Building offers modern facilities, flexible office space, and advanced amenities to support collaboration, client engagement, and future business growth. SRG’s leadership noted that the move marks the group’s first significant step toward establishing a permanent base in London, enhancing integration across its specialist teams.
Since its launch in 2020, SRG has grown rapidly through both organic expansion and a series of strategic acquisitions, building a diverse portfolio of specialist insurance businesses. The new London office reflects the company’s continued investment in infrastructure to support long-term development.
Alongside its real estate expansion, SRG has also strengthened its leadership team. Earlier this week, the group appointed Sasa Brcerevic as group chief commercial officer, a newly created role. Brcerevic, who previously held senior positions at Aon, brings expertise in technology, broking, and consulting. In addition, Neil Nimmo was recently named UK CEO, further reinforcing SRG’s senior leadership bench.
Internationally, SRG has extended its footprint into the Asia-Pacific market with the acquisition of HL Suntek Insurance Brokers in Singapore. This move supports the group’s strategy of replicating its UK model in new geographies and delivering specialist insurance solutions for complex risks. To lead this regional growth, SRG has appointed Collin Yap as CEO for Asia Pacific. Yap, formerly CEO of Marsh McLennan Singapore, brings more than 20 years of industry experience to the role.
