Key Leadership Moves Across The Insurance Industry

Several notable appointments have been announced across the global insurance and broking sectors, reflecting continued expansion, regional strengthening, and strategic growth.

Brokerslink Expands Regional Leadership

Global broking network Brokerslink has named four new regional managers to accelerate growth and enhance collaboration across its international operations.

The new appointees are Enitan Solarin for Africa, Rodney Farah for the Americas, Tushar Thakker for Asia-Pacific, and Lívia Bisoni for Europe. They will work alongside Tatiana Akl, who continues as regional manager for the Middle East.

Each regional leader will oversee a dedicated steering team of independent broking experts, focused on driving cross-border business development and knowledge sharing throughout the network. Operating in 133 countries, Brokerslink has one of the most extensive global footprints among broking networks.

José Manuel Fonseca, president and CEO of Brokerslink, said the new regional managers bring the expertise and vision needed “to shape a different future of broking,” supporting both innovation and sustainable growth across their markets.

Fenchurch Law Strengthens Construction and Property Practice

Specialist insurance law firm Fenchurch Law has bolstered its construction and property practice with two new appointments.

Rob Goodship joins as partner, bringing 15 years of experience in insurance litigation and the resolution of complex, high-value claims for corporate clients. He previously served as head of risk, insurance, and compliance at Ardmore Group, where he gained firsthand experience in construction risk management and the implications of the Building Safety Act 2022.

Duncan Gray, a Chartered Structural Engineer, joins as a trainee solicitor, leveraging his technical background and work with tier-one contractors.

These additions come as Fenchurch Law continues its international expansion, including the opening of a new office in Istanbul, highlighting the firm’s commitment to strengthening its expertise in construction insurance and complex claims.

Allianz Commercial Names New Managing Director in France

Allianz Commercial has appointed Christophe Zaniewski as managing director for France, effective April 2026. He succeeds Patrick Thiels, who will move into a new role as chief client officer for the EMEA region.

With more than 25 years of industry experience—including senior roles at AIG France, Belgium, and Luxembourg—Zaniewski will be based in Paris and lead Allianz’s commercial operations across medium-sized enterprises, large corporates, and specialty risks. His appointment reinforces Allianz’s commitment to strengthening its position in commercial lines and specialty underwriting in the French market.

iFarm Underwriting Strengthens Agricultural Team

iFarm Underwriting, Rokstone’s UK-based farm and agriculture MGA, has expanded its underwriting team with the appointment of James King. Formerly with Geo Agriculture, King brings over 13 years of experience in farm and motor insurance.

In his new role, King will support brokers across iFarm’s product lines, including farm combined, farm focus, property owners, and farm motor offerings.

Lee Ellis, head of iFarm Underwriting, said King’s technical expertise and deep sector understanding will be key to maintaining high service standards while broadening the MGA’s cross-class underwriting capacity.
