Howden Group Strengthens Executive Team with New CFO and CIO Appointments
Global insurance intermediary Howden Group has appointed Susan Panuccio as Group Chief Financial Officer, effective January 6, 2026. Panuccio will also join the Howden Group Board.
Bringing more than 30 years of international financial leadership experience, Panuccio previously spent over two decades with News Corp, where she served as Chief Financial Officer for eight years. During her tenure, she played a key role in driving the company’s digital transformation and global expansion. Earlier in her career, she held senior finance roles in the UK and Australia and began her professional journey with KPMG.
Meanwhile, Mark Craig, who has served as Howden’s Group CFO since 2019, will transition to the newly created role of Chief Investment Officer.
CILA Appoints Shaun Hobbs to Lead Qualifications and Professional Standards
The Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters (CILA) has appointed Shaun Hobbs as Qualifications Manager to support its ongoing education and governance reforms.
Hobbs previously led curriculum strategy at the International Board for IT Governance Qualifications, overseeing more than 30 qualifications and managing around 10,000 examinations annually. His appointment aligns with CILA’s efforts to expand membership and modernise its qualifications framework.
Commenting on his new role, Hobbs said:
“Professional development, including both technical and human skills, is fundamental to building public trust in the claims process. I am delighted to join CILA at a time of significant change.”
Duck Creek Technologies Welcomes Hardeep Gulati as CEO
In the United States, Duck Creek Technologies has named Hardeep Gulati as its new Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Mike Jackowski, who will assume the role of Vice Chair of the Board of Directors.
Gulati brings nearly three decades of technology leadership experience, most recently serving as CEO of PowerSchool, where he played a pivotal role in transforming the company into a leading cloud-based software provider.
Jackowski commented on the leadership transition, stating:
“This is the right moment for Hardeep to take the reins, and I’m confident he will guide Duck Creek to even greater success.”
