Glemham And Davies Bolster Senior Ranks With Strategic Appointments

Glemham Underwriting and Davies have announced key senior hires as both organisations strengthen their underwriting and captive management capabilities.

Glemham enhances professional indemnity team

Glemham Underwriting has named Kirsty Blois (pictured) as lead professional indemnity underwriter.

Blois brings more than 28 years of broking and underwriting experience, including senior positions at Arch and Hiscox. In her new role, she will focus on complex and non-standard professional indemnity risks within the service sector, further reinforcing Glemham’s established expertise in PI.

Founded in 2006, Glemham specialises primarily in professional indemnity but also provides solutions across farm, environmental impairment, commercial combined and property insurance. The MGA continues to operate a hands-on underwriting model designed to give brokers direct access to key decision-makers.

Davies expands global captive management capability

Davies has appointed Reshma Jose as vice president and finance lead for its captive management division, based in Guernsey.

A chartered accountant with more than a decade of industry experience, Jose joins from Aon Insurance Managers and previously held roles with EY and Deloitte. She will oversee financial strategy, regulatory compliance and investment governance across Davies’ global captive operations, spanning Bermuda, the US, Canada, the UK and Guernsey.

Both appointments highlight the sector’s continued emphasis on deep technical expertise and operational excellence in professional indemnity and captive insurance. They reflect a broader industry trend of recruiting seasoned leaders to navigate increasingly complex underwriting, financial and regulatory environments.
