Several UK and international insurers have announced a series of senior leadership appointments.
Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance names global CHRO
Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has promoted David Lee to the role of global chief human resources officer, with responsibility for HR across the company’s global insurance operations.
Lee joined BHSI in 2022 as global head of talent acquisition and brings more than 30 years’ experience in HR, largely within large international organisations. He succeeds Kim Briones, who is retiring after building BHSI’s HR function from the company’s launch in 2013.
Admiral Group appoints new group CFO
Admiral Group has announced that group chief financial officer Geraint Jones will retire in July 2026 and transition to a part-time advisory role. Rachel Lewis will succeed him as group CFO.
Lewis currently serves as CFO of Admiral’s UK insurance business and has extensive experience in financial strategy, cost management and regulatory compliance, including the implementation of IFRS17.
FUW Commercial strengthens regional expertise
FUW Insurance Services has appointed Adam Mead as insurance account executive for FUW Commercial, strengthening its commercial insurance offering across North Wales.
Mead brings 18 years of industry experience, alongside practical insight gained as a former business owner. His expertise spans a range of sectors, including property, construction, hospitality, retail and motor trade, supporting the delivery of tailored insurance solutions for commercial clients.
