Indemnity Law reshapes leadership and launches AI division
Indemnity Law has announced a leadership transition alongside the launch of a new in-house AI and innovation division.
Denise Eastlake and Tom Pangbourne have been appointed as managing partners, bringing nearly 40 years of combined experience in complex insurance claims. Both have previously advised insurers and now act exclusively for policyholders in high-value disputes.
Founder James Morris, who established the firm in 2020, will lead the newly formed AI division. The initiative will initially focus on leveraging technology to expand access to the firm’s specialist expertise, particularly for SME policyholders involved in disputes with insurers.

Pangbourne brings around 20 years of experience advising on insurance coverage and liability, including claims involving professionals and directors.
The firm has also promoted John Curran to senior partner, recognising his extensive experience in complex insurance disputes and his contribution to strengthening Indemnity Law’s position in the market.
