Allianz Partners has announced four senior leadership appointments within its health business as the company continues advancing its segment-focused strategy aimed at improving client service, enhancing commercial performance, and accelerating growth across global and regional health insurance markets.
Allianz Partners has appointed Marco Fattori as Global Lead – Corporate Employee Benefits. In this position, he will oversee the global Employee Benefits strategy while managing account operations and sales activities across major regions. Fattori will report to Giovanni di Meo, head of commercial, health and benefits.
Fattori started his career with Allianz SE in Group HR before joining Allianz Global Benefits in 2014. During his tenure, he held several senior roles, including Head of Account Management, Sales Director for Europe, and Head of Employee Benefits Tender Management.
Meanwhile, Gordon Delaney has been named Global Lead – Corporate IPMI. He will be responsible for driving growth, improving commercial performance, and expanding the company’s global business pipeline. Delaney will collaborate closely with sales, underwriting, and key account management teams, also reporting directly to di Meo.
Delaney joins Allianz Partners from Cigna Healthcare, where he served as Sales Director for the International Organisations division. He brings more than two decades of experience in international health insurance and has previously held senior positions with AXA Global Healthcare and Allianz Partners across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Regional leadership appointments
Cyril Samson has been appointed Employee Benefits Segment Sales Lead for Europe. In this role, he will oversee service delivery for multinational clients while aligning sales operations with the company’s strategic priorities. Samson will also manage key strategic accounts and lead broker management activities throughout Europe, reporting to Liam Hughes, head of sales for Europe.
Samson has spent a significant part of his career with Allianz Global Benefits, most recently leading sales and account management for multinational clients focused on risk and personal solutions. He joined Allianz in 2004 after serving as Head of International Employee Benefits at Gerling Pensions Management.
Paul Hogan has also been promoted to Senior Sales Manager, where he will lead Employee Benefits Segment Sales for the UK market. His responsibilities include overseeing the UK sales strategy, strengthening relationships with global brokers and clients, and driving new business opportunities. Hogan will also report to Hughes.
Hogan joined Allianz in 2017 from Mapfre, where he worked as Regional Commercial Manager for the MENA region. Since then, he has held senior roles within the Middle East International Health account management division and brings nearly 20 years of experience spanning international health, reinsurance, and commercial insurance.
These appointments follow a broader leadership restructuring announced by Allianz Partners at the beginning of 2026. As part of that transition, the company appointed Giovanni di Meo to lead commercial, health and benefits operations, Liam Hughes as head of sales for Europe, Carl Downham as head of sales for the Middle East and Africa, and Elke De Cauwer as head of sales steering, transformation and performance.
Di Meo joined Allianz from Generali in January 2020, while Hughes previously worked at Cigna International and brings more than 30 years of B2B industry experience, forming the leadership structure that now supports the newly appointed commercial and regional executives.
Myers said the company’s strategy is focused on leveraging Allianz’s full capabilities through a segment-led model, positioning the group as “a true one-stop-shop for health and benefits brokers and clients” while delivering a consistent, scalable, and differentiated offering across international markets.
