Eventus Expands Leadership Team With CTO And CCO Appointments

Eventus, a provider of trade surveillance and financial risk management solutions, has expanded its executive leadership team with the appointment of Eric Litz as chief technology officer (CTO) and Sarah-Jane McColl as chief customer officer (CCO).

The appointments are aimed at enhancing the company’s client experience capabilities while supporting its ongoing focus on technological innovation in the compliance sector. Both executives will report directly to CEO Cameron Routh.

Litz joins Eventus with more than 15 years of experience in technology leadership, SaaS growth, and operational transformation within the financial services industry. McColl brings over 20 years of experience in FinTech leadership and operations. Prior to joining the company, she served as an Eventus consultant from 2025, collaborating with the chief operating officer on the phased deployment of the firm’s latest platform, which features AI-powered compliance surveillance through Frank AI.

Most recently, Litz served as president of Copperhead Technology Group, a consulting firm he established in 2025 that specialises in data-driven IT modernisation and SaaS strategy. Through the firm, he provided fractional CTO services to financial institutions and other regulated sectors. Before that, he was CTO of Klarivis from 2022 to 2025, where he helped drive the growth of a SaaS analytics platform serving more than 130 community banks and credit unions.

Earlier in his career, Litz spent nearly a decade as CTO of Delta Data, overseeing the development of six products for Fortune 500 clients and managing systems responsible for processing more than $2 trillion in assets each night. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from Jacksonville State University and a Master of Science in Applied Computer Science from Columbus State University.

McColl joins Eventus after seven years at Beacon Platform, now part of Clearwater Analytics. During her tenure, she held a series of senior leadership positions before joining the executive leadership team in 2021 as senior vice president of operations and later senior vice president of solutions and delivery.

Prior to Beacon Platform, McColl spent 15 years at Goldman Sachs across its London and New York offices. There, she worked closely with business leaders on strategic platform and trading technology initiatives and eventually led global development teams within the Alternatives division of Goldman Sachs Asset Management.

In 2021, McColl received the Excellence in FinTech Award from Markets Media’s U.S. Women in Finance Awards. She earned a Bachelor of Science with honours in Applied Biochemical Sciences from the University of Ulster and a Master of Science with distinction in Computer Science and Applications from Queen’s University Belfast.

Eventus delivers trade surveillance and financial risk management solutions designed to help organisations meet compliance requirements at scale through its technology platforms, including its latest AI-powered offering, Frank AI.
