Indico Data, an Intake & Orchestration Platform for insurance operations, has partnered with HDI Global US, a corporate and specialty insurance carrier, to improve how complex underwriting work is captured, processed and routed across the insurer’s operations.
The partnership supports HDI Global US as it progresses with its Xcelerate29 strategy, which focuses on targeted international growth, continued excellence in underwriting and claims, and the use of artificial intelligence and data to better serve clients operating in complex corporate and specialty insurance markets.
A key part of the strategy is identifying opportunities to improve efficiency across core underwriting systems and related workflows. The objective is to enable insurance submissions to move more efficiently from initial intake through to the final underwriting decision.
As part of the initial rollout, Indico Data will focus on casualty-related workflows in the US market, including general liability, excess and construction. Its platform is designed to ingest, enrich, validate, route and orchestrate complex insurance work across different geographies, business lines and organizational structures.
Rather than concentrating solely on accelerating document processing, Indico Data’s approach focuses on transforming inconsistent incoming information into clean, complete and system-ready data. This information can then be reliably directed to the appropriate teams and technology platforms.
Indico Data operates as an Intake & Orchestration Platform built specifically for insurance operations. Its technology is designed to modernize how work enters and moves through an enterprise by managing the ingestion, enrichment, validation and orchestration of unstructured operational data across underwriting, claims and servicing functions.
