Aviva has renewed its treaty with Lucida Group, which will provide non-standard motor insurance for personal lines customers for an extra three years.
This follows a successful 12-month pilot program with Right Choice Insurance Brokers (RCIB), a Romford-based specialist non-standard car insurance provider under the Lucida Group. The trial saw Aviva providing motor security cover for more than 30,000 new consumers.
Non-standard motor cover caters to drivers in higher-risk classifications or those that face unique risks outside of the scope of standard motor policies.
“We are pleased to further broaden our relationship with Right Choice,” said Jon Santer, managing director, broker, and affinity, Aviva. “Our three-year deal builds on our successful pilot and demonstrates our commitment to development in the personal lines motor market, harnessing the specialisms of our dealer partners.”
“Our teams have quickly established a very close working friendship with Aviva,” said Darren Joseph, managing director of RCIB. “Building on our relationship with Aviva is great as it gives our customers confidence and the dealer support we get from Aviva means we can deliver policies to suit more complex needs at the pace and with the quality service our consumers expect.”
