Ageas has named the RAC as its new legal expenses insurance provider for motor, van, and home policyholders across the Ageas and Rias brands.
The appointment, following a competitive tender process, builds on the existing partnership between the two organisations. The RAC already supports Ageas Retail Limited as its motor breakdown assistance provider.
Under the new agreement, customers who include legal expenses cover in their policies will begin receiving the RAC’s legal services upon renewal. The partnership gives policyholders access to 24/7 legal advice and support across a wide range of areas, including employment, property, and family matters.
According to Evans, the RAC has made significant investments in its legal services proposition to deliver stronger protection and expertise for customers.
The collaboration further strengthens the longstanding relationship between Ageas and the RAC, reflecting a wider industry trend of personal lines insurers expanding into value-added services beyond traditional coverages.
