Alliant Insurance Services Appoints Trent Vance as Senior Vice President

Alliant Insurance Services has named Trent Vance as a senior vice president within its Employee Benefits Group. Operating out of Florida, Vance will collaborate with clients across the Southeast and nationwide to develop strategies aimed at optimizing employee benefits programs while effectively managing long-term costs.

With nearly 25 years of experience in the employee benefits sector, Vance specializes in working with mid-market organizations on fully insured and self-funded programs. His expertise lies in aligning benefits strategies with corporate goals, ensuring cost efficiency throughout the employee lifecycle.

Before joining Alliant, Vance served as area vice president for health and welfare at a global insurance brokerage and consulting firm in South Florida. He holds a bachelor’s degree in political science and finance from Florida State University.

Highlighting Vance’s appointment, a company spokesperson emphasized his ability to align cost-management objectives with employers’ long-term strategic goals, providing organizations with a competitive advantage in today’s evolving market.

AF Group Appoints Marcos Iglesias, M.D., M.M.M., as Chief Medical Director

AF Group has announced the appointment of Marcos Iglesias as its new chief medical director. In this capacity, Iglesias will oversee medical management strategies and enhance communication across the organization’s affiliate brands, medical vendors, and providers on a national scale.

Bringing over 30 years of clinical and administrative expertise, Iglesias has an extensive background in workers’ compensation, occupational medicine, utilization management, and disability insurance. Prior to joining AF Group, he served as chief medical director at Travelers and held leadership roles at Broadspire Services Inc. and The Hartford.

A distinguished professional in the medical field, Iglesias is a fellow of both the American Academy of Family Physicians and the American College of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. Additionally, he is an active member of the American Academy of Insurance Medicine and holds board certifications in Family Medicine and Utilization Review and Quality Assurance.

Iglesias earned his medical degree from the University of Toronto, completed his residency at Sunnybrook Medical Centre, and holds a master’s degree in medical management from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business.

Paul Kearney, AF Group’s chief claims officer, highlighted Iglesias’ extensive experience in developing medical management and claims strategies, emphasizing his dedication to providing high-quality care for injured workers.

These appointments underscore Alliant Insurance Services and AF Group’s commitment to enhancing their leadership teams and driving strategic growth within their respective industries.
