Allianz And AutoRek Strengthen Insurance Market Strategies With Key Leadership Appointments

Allianz UK and AutoRek have announced senior appointments aimed at advancing their respective growth and innovation agendas in the insurance market, underscoring continued investment in leadership and digital transformation across the sector.

Allianz Strengthens Broker Network

Allianz UK has appointed Vicky Yuill (pictured) as Distribution Director for Allianz Personal Broker, effective December 2025.

Yuill will report to the managing director and brings over two decades of industry experience. She most recently served as Head of Insurance at Sainsbury’s Bank, overseeing product lines spanning car, home, pet, life, and travel. Her previous roles include senior positions at Ageas and Kwik Fit Insurance Services, where she managed insurer partnerships across home and motor markets.

Her appointment follows the recent announcement of Glyn Hughes as Managing Director of Allianz Personal Broker, who is set to assume the role in February 2026. Together, Yuill and Hughes’ appointments reinforce Allianz’s commitment to strengthening its broker-focused strategy and deepening engagement across the personal lines market.

AutoRek Expands Global Insurance Footprint

Financial controls and reconciliation technology provider AutoRek has also bolstered its insurance sector capabilities with two strategic hires as part of its global growth initiative.

Tony Shek joins as Global Sales Lead, bringing more than a decade of experience with leading insurers including Aviva, AIG, Generali, MetLife, and HSBC. He also offers valuable digital transformation expertise from his most recent position at CyberSmart.

Supporting AutoRek’s expansion, Meghana Nile joins the company’s presales team after serving as Business Architect at Allianz Insurance. With over 15 years of experience designing strategic, technology-driven solutions for insurers, Nile will play a key role in advancing AutoRek’s client engagement and solution design.

The appointments come as AutoRek accelerates its push into the global insurance market, leveraging its AI-driven reconciliation platform and the recently launched AutoRek ARIA, designed to enhance operational efficiency and data management through intelligent automation.
