Allianz Expands Digital Broker Support With Smart Broker Brief And QuoteSME Enhancements

Allianz has unveiled the Smart Broker Brief alongside significant upgrades to its QuoteSME platform, reinforcing its commitment to equipping brokers with advanced digital tools.

The Smart Broker Brief is designed to provide brokers with actionable insights that enhance client engagement and reduce preparation time. Drawing on more than 40 data points from both internal and external sources, the tool identifies potential risks—such as underinsurance—while supporting data-driven conversations with clients.

According to Allianz, the resource delivers four core benefits: faster preparation through tailored insights, early risk detection, guidance on risk management, and increased confidence in client discussions. Initially, the tool is available for packaged policy quotes and renewals processed via email, with plans to extend access at the point of quote across the wider customer base.

Alongside the Smart Broker Brief, Allianz has introduced a series of updates to its QuoteSME digital quote-and-buy service for small and medium-sized enterprises. Developed in response to broker feedback, the changes aim to streamline processes and improve usability.

Key updates include a new smart search bar for faster lookups, a refreshed interface for a cleaner user experience, and an enhanced mini fleet workflow allowing bulk vehicle entry and easier navigation. A notable addition is the sums insured confirmation page, which compares estimated rebuild values with typical ranges to flag possible underinsurance early in the process—aligning with the objectives of the Smart Broker Brief.

Both initiatives are now live, with Allianz highlighting their role in reducing administrative workloads and enabling brokers to focus more on client support. By aligning the Smart Broker Brief with QuoteSME enhancements, Allianz aims to tackle one of the sector’s persistent challenges: ensuring risks, particularly underinsurance, are identified and managed at an early stage.

Together, these initiatives represent a significant enhancement of the resources available to brokers within Allianz’s digital trading platform.
