In line with its Driving Progress 2023 strategy plan, AXA has initiated a strategic programme to develop a digital commercial platform that will transform the insurer’s offering to commercial customers.
By combining real-time data and analytics collected through satellites, drones, and sensors with the group’s expertise in risk-prevention services, underwriting, and claims capabilities, the digital commercial platform aims to create an ecosystem of new services to address the fast-evolving protection needs of corporate clients.
Two initial programmes will be available on the platform. AXA Climate is a data-driven open ecosystem that offers a variety of sustainability services to large corporations, governments, and financial institutions. Climate School, for example, is a digital learning platform where corporate clients may upskill their personnel and prepare their businesses for the transition to a more sustainable future. Climate School has more than 40 registered significant business clients and has been utilised to train more than five million people in less than a year of operation.
AXA Smart Services is a network that provides risk intelligence and risk management services. It will provide additional services to assist business clients, such as the ability to monitor all of their fixed and in-transit assets in real time and access to customised preventive.
“We’ve reached a critical juncture in our innovation approach,” said Georges Desvaux, AXA’s chief strategy and business development officer. “We now intend to integrate a comprehensive, data-driven ecosystem of services throughout our key markets aligned with our main strategic priorities, after having accelerated the growth of our expertise and culture of innovation throughout the organisation.” The digital commercial platform is the ideal manifestation of this strategy…. [It] marks a new step in our innovation journey, with the goal of continuously improving our offerings and services for our clients.”
