Bridgehaven Specialty UK Limited (Bridgehaven), a hybrid insurer specialising in commercial and specialty lines, has joined the Association of British Insurers (ABI).
Operating as a hybrid carrier, Bridgehaven offers managing general agents (MGAs) long-term capacity while creating diversification opportunities for reinsurers. The approach is designed to support durable partnerships, introduce fresh solutions to market, and highlight the adaptability of the UK insurance sector.
Membership of the ABI connects Bridgehaven with the wider voice of the UK’s insurance and long-term savings industry, which represents more than 300 firms including Aviva, Lloyd’s of London, and AIG UK. The ABI works with government, regulators, and consumer groups on policy and advocacy while championing the sector’s contribution to the economy.
