Burns & Wilcox Announces Strategic Leadership Promotions

Burns & Wilcox has unveiled a series of key leadership promotions aimed at enhancing its operations and driving continued growth across the United States.

Bonnie Steen has been named Regional Vice President, marking a significant milestone as she approaches her 18th year with the company in 2025. Previously serving as Vice President and Managing Director for the New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Ruston offices in Louisiana, Steen will now oversee operations across Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Alabama. She will continue to report to Blaise D’Antoni, Executive Vice President of the Eastern Region.

William Briscoe, a nearly 13-year veteran of the firm, has been promoted to Vice President. Briscoe will maintain his current responsibilities as Managing Director of the Oxford, Mississippi, and Birmingham, Alabama, offices, and will now report directly to Steen.

Chris Siegel, who joined Burns & Wilcox a decade ago, has also been elevated to Vice President. In his expanded role, Siegel will lead all Florida-based operations. He previously served as Associate Vice President and Managing Director of the Orlando and South Florida offices.

In the Carolinas, Berri Willis has been promoted to Vice President, building on more than 17 years with the company. Willis will continue to oversee Burns & Wilcox’s offices throughout North and South Carolina.

Additionally, Justin Dorman has been appointed Associate Managing Director of the Charleston, South Carolina, office. With over 10 years of service at the company, Dorman will now take on day-to-day leadership responsibilities, reporting to Willis.

These appointments follow a series of recent leadership enhancements designed to strengthen the company’s national footprint. In February, Burns & Wilcox welcomed Joseph Ross from US Risk and Obie Scott from USI as Associate Managing Directors in California.

In October 2024, Tom Carvalho was promoted to Managing Director, taking charge of the San Francisco, Seattle, and Portland offices.

Earlier in July 2024, the company appointed Larry Paulaski as Regional Vice President for the Southwest region, overseeing operations in Los Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas, and Scottsdale. Brett Faustman was also named Managing Director for the Metro Detroit and Grand Rapids offices.

Danny Kaufman, President of Burns & Wilcox, emphasized the importance of these strategic leadership changes in positioning the company for long-term success and continued expansion.
