Leigh Anne Sherman (pictured) has been named specialised officer for the North American middle market by Chubb, the world’s largest publicly traded property and casualty insurer.
Sherman joins Chubb after a 25-year career with the company, most
recently as division president of the company’s subsidiary ESIS.
Sherman will lead Chubb’s distribution operations as specialty
officer, enabling partners with “seamless access” to product offerings
for clients in the commercial middle market, according to a
statement from the company.
Sherman takes over for Joseph Clabby, who is retiring in July. Ben
Rockwell, vice president of Chubb Group and division president of
North America middle market, will be her boss.
“We’re excited to welcome Leigh Anne to commercial insurance,”
Rockwell said. “She has a track record of leading creative businesses
and achieving results, and in this new job, she will be able to draw on
decades of insurance industry expertise and experience.”
“Joe has served the organisation in a number of leadership roles
throughout the years and has been essential in helping to expand
our business,” said Rockwell. “On behalf of the entire management
team at Chubb, we appreciate him for his many achievements and
wish him well in his retirement.”
