In a strategic move to strengthen its North American operations, Davies has announced the acquisition of Premier Claims Management, LLC (PCM), a specialist provider focusing on professional and general liability claims.
This expansion broadens Davies’ service capabilities to include coverage in areas such as environmental, crime, fiduciary, directors and officers (D&O) liability, employment practices, medical malpractice, construction defects, cybersecurity, and more.
PCM also offers a variety of bespoke programs for London Market insurers, with a particular focus on handling errors and omissions claims for professionals like realtors, appraisers, actuaries, and attorneys. These offerings enhance and diversify Davies’ existing services, delivering greater value to its clients.
As part of the acquisition, PCM founder Marilyn Bonetati and more than 40 team members—including 16 coverage attorneys—will integrate into Davies’ North American claims team, led by Don Lederer, CEO of Claims Solutions.
Bonetati brings over two decades of experience serving as coverage and defense counsel for insurers and insureds, further strengthening Davies’ expertise in the field.
Over the past five years, Davies has significantly invested in its North American operations, offering claims services across various sectors, including property and casualty, life and health, transportation, energy, and marine. The company provides third-party administration and loss-adjusting solutions across the U.S. and parts of Canada.
Matt Button, CEO of Davies North America, emphasized the increasing demand from the London market for integrated partnerships in North America, positioning the company as a key player in meeting these needs.
With a global footprint spanning ten countries, including the U.S. and the UK, Davies serves over 1,700 clients across insurance, financial services, and other regulated industries, solidifying its role as a trusted partner in claims management and beyond.
