Davies, the professional services and technology firm serving insurance and regulated markets, has appointed Mark DiMaio as head of capital markets.
DiMaio brings extensive experience from his previous role as senior advisor and founder at Pelagic Strategic Partners LLC, where he provided strategic guidance to fintech, financial services, and professional services organisations, as well as investors and venture capital firms. Over his career, he has led advisory businesses across the financial sector and supported a diverse range of international clients.
In his new position, DiMaio will spearhead Davies’ global go-to-market strategy for banking and capital markets, with a remit covering the US, Canada, Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the Middle East. His focus will be on strengthening client relationships in the financial services sector and expanding the firm’s consulting solutions.
Supporting him in North America, Peter Keaveney will take a key role in advancing Davies’ financial services strategy. Keaveney will focus on building relationships with trust banks, while continuing his leadership in asset and wealth management. He will also collaborate with other divisions to identify cross-market opportunities for growth.
This leadership expansion follows the recent appointment of Richard Barke as CEO of Davies’ Insurance Solutions division in August. Barke is tasked with overseeing operations and driving the division’s growth agenda.
The appointments of DiMaio and Barke form part of Davies’ Vision 2030 strategy, which prioritises leadership development, geographic expansion, and the delivery of broader, market-leading solutions.
