Everest Insurance has announced a series of key leadership appointments aimed at strengthening its North America operations and global specialties division.
Craig Hanrahan to Lead North America Field Operations
Everest has appointed Craig Hanrahan as the new head of its North America insurance field operations. In this role, Hanrahan will oversee the company’s four U.S. retail regions: Northeast, South, Central, and West. Reporting directly to Bill Hazelton, executive vice president of Everest Insurance and president of North America Insurance, Hanrahan will be tasked with driving growth and operational excellence across these critical markets.
Hanrahan brings a wealth of experience to the role, having previously served as Everest’s Northeast regional executive for North America Insurance. His career spans three decades, during which he has held senior positions at leading companies such as Chubb, Marsh, and AIG before joining Everest.
Other appointments for Everest Insurance
In addition to Hanrahan’s appointment, Everest has made significant leadership changes within its U.S. casualty business.
- Nina Corbo has been named head of U.S. primary casualty. In this role, Corbo will oversee the risk management and commercial casualty segments. With nearly 20 years of industry experience, she most recently served as head of risk management for Everest’s North America Insurance team.
- Debbie Weiser has been promoted to head of U.S. excess casualty. She will manage the national accounts and middle market excess casualty segments. Weiser joined Everest in 2017 and previously served as head of excess casualty for North America Insurance.
Everest’s reinsurance division has also announced a significant leadership change. Emily Davis has been appointed head of the global specialties business, overseeing key areas such as aviation, marine, cyber, engineering, and parametric solutions. Davis will report to Jill Beggs, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Everest Reinsurance. Her leadership is expected to further strengthen the company’s position in these specialized markets.
These appointments highlight Everest’s commitment to enhancing its leadership team and expanding its capabilities to better serve clients across diverse segments and regions.
