FM Announces Strategic Leadership Appointments

Commercial property insurer FM has named Laurel Rudnick and Danielle Harrison to new leadership roles, effective Jan. 1.

Laurel Rudnick will step into the role of senior vice president and chief underwriting officer. In this capacity, Rudnick will oversee FM’s underwriting and reinsurance operations, reporting directly to Lyndon Broad, executive vice president of staff insurance operations. She brings a wealth of experience to the role, having previously served as senior vice president and division manager for FM Affiliated, the company’s middle-market insurance division.

Rudnick joined FM Global in 2006 as a field engineer based in Los Angeles and has since held a variety of roles, including account engineer, client service manager, and operations senior vice president in New York. She holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of California, Davis, and a master’s degree in engineering management from California State University, Northridge.

Danielle Harrison has been named senior vice president and division manager for FM Affiliated. In her new role, Harrison will lead a global team specializing in underwriting and property loss control engineering, working through an extensive international network of broker partners. She will report to Ziad Alex S. Tadmoury, executive vice president for EMEA, Asia Pacific, Canada, and Specialty Industries, as well as FM Affiliated.

Harrison joined FM in 2001 as an underwriter and has held various roles in client service and operations, including FM Affiliated area manager and operations senior vice president for Washington, D.C. She graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a bachelor’s degree in insurance.

Tadmoury praised Harrison’s deep expertise and leadership abilities, noting that her extensive experience in client service and operations will be instrumental in driving the continued success of FM Affiliated’s middle-market business.
