Heading this pioneering endeavor is Jennifer Potenta, appointed as Managing Director and Head of Insurance Solutions, bringing with her over two decades of industry expertise. Potenta’s illustrious career includes her prior role as Senior Managing Director and Global Head of Private Fixed Income and Alternatives at MetLife Investment Management, where she adeptly oversaw a portfolio exceeding $120 billion in private debt and equity investments, specifically tailored to meet the distinctive needs of insurance firms.
The inception of the insurance solutions team underscores Golub Capital’s strategic vision aimed at bolstering its Investor Partners Group while catering to the unique investment requisites of a diverse array of investor segments worldwide. With a storied history spanning 17 years, Golub Capital boasts a client base exceeding 120 insurance entities, offering bespoke investment solutions across debt and equity arenas.

In addition to the establishment of the Insurance Solutions team, Golub Capital highlighted its recent foray into insurance capital solutions through its participation in Ruby Reinsurance Company (Ruby Re), a reinsurance sidecar vehicle initiated by Reinsurance Group of America (RGA).
