Grange Insurance Company has announced that Nicole Carter will assume an expanded role as vice president of personal lines (PL) sales and strategic distribution.
Who is Nicole Carter?
Nicole Carter joined Grange Insurance Company in 2022 and has since played a key role in shaping and implementing the company’s strategic distribution roadmap. Her extensive industry experience has equipped her to lead in this expanded capacity.
Before her tenure with Grange, Carter served as director for national accounts at Allstate’s National General. There, she managed $3 million in premium for the independent agency channel’s national accounts division and spearheaded the creation of the alternative distribution vertical for the same channel. Carter has also held multiple leadership roles at Liberty Mutual Insurance, including manager of agent and broker relations, assistant vice president of marketing, and sales manager. Earlier in her career, she held positions at Safeco as a sales manager and at Enterprise Rent-A-Car as a loss control administrator and assistant branch manager.
A graduate of East Carolina University, Carter has contributed to numerous industry boards and committees, including InVEST, Best Practice, Diversity Council, the Agents Council for Technology, and Women in Insurance Leadership. She is a former chair of the National PIA Partnership.
