Guidewire, a leading platform provider for the property and casualty (P&C) insurance industry, has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire ProNavigator, an AI-powered knowledge management platform built specifically for the insurance sector.
The acquisition is set to enhance Guidewire’s artificial intelligence and contextual knowledge capabilities, helping insurers access information faster and improve operational efficiency.
The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of Guidewire’s fiscal year 2026, subject to customary closing conditions. Financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.
ProNavigator’s technology enables insurers to access context-aware, best-practice information within their daily workflows—spanning claims, underwriting, and distribution. By capturing and connecting institutional knowledge across business lines, the platform helps professionals make quicker, data-driven decisions. Currently, 34 insurance organisations use ProNavigator’s solution, including 12 that already partner with Guidewire.
Designed with a flexible architecture, ProNavigator supports both personal and commercial insurance operations, streamlining access to relevant data. Once integrated, insurers will benefit from instant knowledge retrieval tools aimed at reducing claim cycle times, improving customer service, and accelerating employee onboarding.
The merger will expand ProNavigator’s reach across the insurance ecosystem, while further empowering professionals to deliver more responsive and informed service to policyholders.
Notably, ProNavigator previously participated in Guidewire’s InsurTech Vanguards incubator programme, underscoring an established collaboration between the two firms.
