HDI Global SE has named Melanie Windirsch as its new Head of International Programs (IP), with her appointment effective on November 1, 2024.
Windirsch steps into this role following Dr. Dirk Höring’s transition to the HDI Global SE executive board in April. She will report to Dr. Thomas Kuhnt, COO and CIO of HDI Global.
With over 12 years of experience in corporate insurance, Windirsch joins HDI Global from Allianz Commercial, where she led global network management and multinational governance. Her background also includes a strong foundation in underwriting. In her new position, Windirsch will oversee more than 50 employees across IP services, IP operations and technology, and the global network departments.
Kuhnt welcomed Windirsch to HDI Global’s leadership team, emphasizing that her industry expertise and insights will be valuable in strengthening the company’s international programs.
