HSB UK & Ireland has named Andrew Burke as its new chief executive officer, subject to regulatory approval.
Burke will succeed Stephen Worrall, who stepped down earlier this year, taking the helm of the specialist provider of engineering insurance and inspection services.
With over 30 years of experience in financial services and insurance, Burke has a proven track record in senior leadership roles. Most recently, he served as CEO of DAS UK Group, where he focused on enhancing the company’s strategic partnerships. Prior to that, he spent 13 years at RSA Insurance Group, holding a range of international leadership positions, including CEO for Central & Eastern Europe and the Middle East, and CEO of Emerging Markets.
In his new role, Burke will oversee HSB UK & Ireland’s insurance, inspection, and building warranty operations, steering the company’s continued growth and strategic direction.
