HUB International Limited has announced the appointment of Carol Murphy as its North American casualty practice leader.
In her new role, Murphy will spearhead the continued expansion of HUB’s casualty practice, focusing on delivering strategic solutions tailored to the diverse needs of clients across multiple industries.
Murphy joined HUB in January 2023 and has been instrumental in driving the growth and development of the casualty practice. With over 30 years of industry experience, she has earned multiple accolades, including recognition in Insurance Business America’s Elite Women 2023.
Her primary objective will be to enhance HUB’s casualty expertise, expand its suite of insurance solutions, and cultivate top talent across North America.
Murphy’s appointment comes as HUB continues to broaden its offerings and strengthen its market position. Earlier this month, the company introduced HUB Private Client Equine Risk Advisory Services, a specialized solution designed to help high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients navigate risks associated with horse ownership, riding, training, and equestrian activities.
In addition to launching new services, HUB has also pursued strategic acquisitions. Last week, the company acquired Yavitz Insurance Group, a St. Louis-based, privately owned insurance agency that has provided commercial and personal insurance solutions to individuals and businesses since 1921.
Beyond acquisitions and new service offerings, HUB has reinforced its commitment to innovation through an expanded partnership with CyberCube. This collaboration will integrate cutting-edge software and services to enhance cyber risk analytics capabilities for clients throughout North America.
