Several prominent insurance firms have announced strategic leadership appointments to enhance their capabilities in underwriting, surety, claims management, and employee benefits. Marsh, BenefitMall, Embroker, and Euclid Transactional have each named key executives to oversee critical business functions, reflecting their commitment to adapting to evolving market demands.

Marsh Announces New Leadership in US Surety and Construction Claims

Marsh, a global insurance broker and risk advisor under Marsh McLennan, has appointed Fran Curran as US Surety Leader and Todd Schweitzer as US Construction Claims Leader.

Curran, based in Philadelphia, has been with Marsh for 24 years, most recently serving as Southeast Surety Practice Leader. In his new role, he will lead a team of 100 surety specialists across the country, focusing on enhancing credit capacity and managing financial risks for clients in various industries.

Schweitzer, headquartered in San Diego, has been with Marsh for three years as a senior claims advocate, specializing in complex construction claims. With nearly four decades of experience, he will now oversee Marsh’s US construction claims team, managing claim resolution and strategy development.

BenefitMall Strengthens Florida Presence with New Executive Appointment

BenefitMall has appointed Jim Scheib as Benefits Sales Executive for North Florida, covering the Florida Panhandle, Jacksonville, and surrounding areas. This move aligns with the company’s broader strategy to enhance broker support in the region.

Scheib brings 35 years of experience in employee benefits and group insurance, with expertise spanning group disability, major medical, dental, and vision insurance. He will report to Market Director Jennifer Drake.

Embroker Welcomes New Vice President of Underwriting

Embroker has named Stephen Easley as Vice President of Underwriting, leveraging his 25 years of experience in specialty and professional lines underwriting.

Easley has held leadership roles at AIG, CAN, and USLI, where he played a pivotal role in building and leading underwriting teams, developing specialty products, and shaping coverage in management liability, technology errors and omissions (E&O), and cyber insurance.

Euclid Transactional Announces Global Promotions

Euclid Transactional, a managing general agent specializing in transactional insurance underwriting and claims handling, has announced multiple leadership promotions across North America, EMEA, and APAC.

In North America, Corey Connelly, Hasnaa El Rhermoul, and Sean Kim have been promoted to Managing Directors, while Kim Heessels has been named Managing Director and Head of Secondaries. In the APAC region, Alice Ho has been appointed Managing Director and Head of APAC.

In the EMEA region, Dave Luckett and Crystal Png have been promoted to Chief Underwriting Officer for the EEA and the UK & London Markets, respectively. Lucy Darbey has been named Chief Distribution Officer for EMEA and APAC, and Daniel Moesinger has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Head of DACH.

On the claims side, Brittany Zimmer has been promoted to Deputy General Counsel and Managing Director of Claims. Rose Kenerson and Nick Morales have been appointed Associate General Counsel and Managing Directors of Claims.

Euclid Transactional stated that these 47 title and responsibility advancements reflect the company’s commitment to retaining top talent and maintaining exceptional client service.

These leadership changes underscore the insurance sector’s ongoing focus on expertise, innovation, and enhanced service delivery in response to dynamic industry demands.
