Salama Appoints Mohamed Ali Bouabane as Group CEO
Salama, a prominent regional insurer specializing in Takaful solutions, has named Mohamed Ali Bouabane as its new Group Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.
Bouabane brings more than 20 years of international experience in the insurance industry, having held leadership roles across Canada, Dubai, and Hong Kong. Most recently, he served as CEO of AIG GCC & North Africa. His expertise in risk management, digital transformation, and market expansion is expected to bolster Salama’s growth trajectory, particularly in the Middle East and Africa.

World Insurance Associates Appoints James Robinson as Southeast Division Revenue Leader
World Insurance Associates LLC has appointed James Robinson as Revenue Leader for its Southeast Division, a move aimed at accelerating profitable growth across the region.
Robinson will collaborate closely with Southeast Division Leader Keith Roberts. He joins the firm with over two decades of industry experience, including senior roles at Aon plc and Marsh McLennan Agency.

Acrisure Strengthens Executive Team with Key Appointments
Acrisure has expanded its executive leadership with the appointments of Mark Wassersug as Chief Technology Officer and Shawn Pelsinger as Chief Administrative Officer.
Wassersug, formerly with Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) for 22 years, will lead Acrisure’s technology and IT initiatives as the company continues its transformation into a global fintech powerhouse. Pelsinger, who previously served as Global Head of Corporate Development at Palantir Technologies, will oversee Acrisure’s legal, HR, and regulatory functions.
Both executives will report directly to Greg Williams, co-founder, chairman, and CEO of Acrisure.

Genworth Names Morris Taylor as SVP and Chief Information Officer
Genworth has announced the appointment of Morris Taylor as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer (CIO), effective April 7.
Taylor brings a wealth of experience to the role, having most recently served as CIO at Markel. Prior to that, he spent 25 years at Capital One, where he led large-scale integration efforts and spearheaded key technology transformation initiatives.
In his new role at Genworth, Taylor will be responsible for shaping and advancing the company’s technology strategy and innovation agenda. His appointment underscores Genworth’s commitment to leveraging technology to enhance customer experiences and deliver forward-looking solutions.
