Insurance Sector Sees Wave Of Senior Leadership Appointments

Global insurance and risk markets continue to experience notable leadership changes and strategic appointments across carriers, MGAs, networks and insurtechs. Below is a round-up of the latest senior people moves shaping the sector.

Allianz Commercial strengthens Iberia leadership

Allianz Commercial has appointed Guy Money as regional managing director for Iberia and a member of the board of Allianz Seguros in Spain, effective March 1, 2026, subject to regulatory approval.

Money is currently global head of multinational at Allianz Commercial, having joined the group in 2020. Since then, he has held several senior leadership roles. Prior to Allianz, he worked at AXA, where he served as group head of liability lines.

In his new roles, Money will oversee Allianz’s commercial insurance operations across Spain and Portugal, covering small and medium-sized enterprises, large corporates and specialty risks. He will be based in Madrid and will succeed Agustín de la Cuerda, who will move into a new position to be announced in the coming weeks.

De la Cuerda joined Allianz in 1994 and has held a number of leadership roles across Spain, Portugal and Latin America. To ensure a smooth transition, he will remain in his current positions at Allianz Commercial and Allianz Seguros until Money formally assumes his new role in March.

Addresscloud appoints fractional CMO to support global scale-up

Geospatial intelligence platform Addresscloud has appointed Clair Bush as fractional chief marketing officer, effective immediately, as it prepares for its next phase of growth and international scale.

Addresscloud supports insurers in locating, understanding and underwriting property-level risk. In her new role, Bush will work closely with the leadership team to strengthen how the company communicates and delivers its capabilities to customers and partners.

Her remit includes sharpening market positioning, improving customer alignment, and building the systems and processes needed to support sustainable growth at scale.

CyberCube confirms CEO succession following growth and funding phase

CyberCube has appointed Chris Methven as chief executive officer, succeeding Pascal Millaire, who has transitioned into the role of senior advisor.

The leadership change follows CyberCube’s recent US$180m funding round led by Spectrum Equity and marks the next stage in the company’s development. Millaire has led the business since its inception, overseeing a period of significant growth.

Methven joined CyberCube in April 2020 as chief growth officer and brings deep knowledge of the company’s culture, products and long-term strategy. Prior to CyberCube, he was chief revenue officer at supply chain risk analytics firm Achilles.

MAXIS GBN appoints chief business development officer

MAXIS Global Benefits Network (MAXIS GBN) has appointed Jayesh Patel as chief business development officer, subject to regulatory approval. Patel will take up the role on May 5, 2026.

He will lead MAXIS GBN’s global business development function, with responsibility for shaping and executing its worldwide growth strategy.

Patel joins from Allianz Commercial, where he has served as global head of multinational market practice since 2022, driving the expansion of its multinational portfolio and global market approach. His previous roles at Allianz include regional director for the UK & Ireland at Allianz Global Benefits and global head of tender and risk management.

Alps promotes new head of business development

Alps, an MGA specialising in insurance add-on products, legal expenses and claims solutions for intermediaries, has promoted Martin Green to head of business development.

Green joined Alps in May 2024 as compliance officer before moving into the role of sales manager.

Commenting on the promotion, managing director Michelle O’Reilly said Green’s appointment supports the company’s ambition to become the UK’s leading provider of insurance add-on solutions.
