Jon Clark has been elevated to the role of chief operating officer at McLarens, a leading global claims services provider. This promotion places Clark in the company’s C-suite, highlighting McLarens’ ongoing expansion of its specialist services worldwide.
As COO, Clark will lead the development and enhancement of McLarens’ practice areas, oversee the firm’s investment strategy, and drive new product development. Working closely with regional leaders and fellow C-suite executives, he aims to strengthen global partnerships and scale the business effectively.
Since joining McLarens in April 2020, Clark has been instrumental in transforming the company from a loss adjusting firm to a comprehensive claims services provider, focusing on complex, commercial, and specialty insurance markets.
In his previous role as vice president of corporate development, Clark spearheaded the global expansion of McLarens’ forensic and technical services. Under his leadership, the team executed 13 successful mergers and acquisitions, broadening the company’s capabilities in engineering, forensic science, investigation, and building consultancy.
Clark’s career includes significant roles in global companies, where he managed business development. Prior to McLarens, he served as vice president of global strategy at a publicly traded financial services company, group chief financial officer at an Australian specialty finance firm, and managing director at a middle-market investment bank.
