Leadership Moves At Marsh Risk, Insurwave, Keoghs And MDS

Marsh Risk, Insurwave, Keoghs and MDS have announced a series of senior leadership appointments as they strengthen their capabilities in supply chain resilience, fraud prevention and data-driven risk management.

Marsh Risk appoints global supply chain practice leader

Marsh Risk, part of Marsh, has appointed James Crask to the newly created role of global supply chain practice leader. In the position, Crask will lead the delivery of insights, advice and solutions designed to help clients build resilience across increasingly complex global supply chains.

Based in London, Crask brings more than 20 years of experience in risk management, resilience and strategic advisory services across both the public and private sectors. He joined Marsh Risk in 2018 and has since held several senior business resilience leadership roles. In 2024, he was named global head of multinational clients, risk consulting.

Insurwave names chief delivery officer to support growth strategy

Insurwave has appointed Deepak Saigal as chief delivery officer as the company continues to scale its platform and sharpen its focus across defined product lines.

Saigal joins at a pivotal stage of growth and brings more than two decades of experience in the specialty insurance market. He has played a key role in developing platform foundations that supported the creation and successful scaling of multiple MGAs across the UK and EEA.

Reporting directly to CEO Adrian Morgan, Saigal will be responsible for strengthening delivery execution across the business and ensuring Insurwave’s platforms continue to meet the evolving needs of insurers, brokers, MGAs and global corporations operating in complex risk environments.

Keoghs expands Midlands fraud hub with senior hires

Keoghs, the legal solutions arm of Davies, has strengthened its counter-fraud capabilities with the appointment of a senior team from Clyde & Co, forming a key part of its new Midlands Hub.

Sarah Hill joins as partner and will lead the team, bringing 25 years of experience in insurance fraud. Formerly head of Clyde & Co’s national fraud department, Hill is widely recognised as an industry leader, with expertise spanning large-scale organised fraud, high-value exaggerated claims and complex fraud litigation.

Ben FitzHugh has also joined as head of intelligence, following senior intelligence roles at both BLM and Clyde & Co. With more than 20 years’ experience across law enforcement and the legal sector, FitzHugh will focus on enhancing Keoghs’ intelligence function through the use of data analytics and AI-driven capabilities.

MDS strengthens Spanish operations with senior appointments

MDS Group has continued the expansion of its operations in Spain with the addition of four senior professionals across employee benefits, marine and surety insurance.

José Antonio Heredia has been appointed director of employee benefits, while Manuel Lezama Leguizamón joins as director of marine. Heredia brings experience from organisations including Howden Employee Benefits, March RS, ASISA and ADESLAS, with a background in health, benefits and compliance-led projects. Leguizamón joins from Generali Global Corporate & Commercial, where he led the marine and aviation division across the Mediterranean and Latin America regions.

They are joined by Santiago Mufarech as account manager for the marine unit and Carlota Alba as account manager for the surety unit, further strengthening MDS’s regional expertise.
