McLarens Appoints Danny Miller As Chief Global Strategy Officer

McLarens has announced the appointment of Danny Miller as its first Chief Global Strategy Officer (CGSO), a newly created role within the firm’s global leadership team. The move is part of the company’s broader organisational strategy to enhance support for its international operations.

Effective immediately, Miller will report directly to McLarens CEO Gary Brown. In his role as CGSO, he will be responsible for driving long-term strategic planning, assessing merger and acquisition (M&A) opportunities, and leading enterprise-level initiatives that underpin the group’s global operational planning.

Miller brings more than three decades of senior leadership experience in the insurance and loss adjusting sectors. He has held prominent executive roles at firms including Knight Commercial, Sedgwick, and York, where he led initiatives across claims management, strategic development, M&A integration, and digital transformation. His expertise spans both domestic and international markets, with deep experience in catastrophe (CAT) response, claims operations, and workforce development.

This appointment comes at a pivotal time for the global insurance sector. While M&A activity experienced a slowdown in some areas during Q1 2025, industry analysts anticipate increased strategic deal-making in the months ahead, setting the stage for a more dynamic year overall.
