P&C insurance broker NFP has announced that it has developed Direct Safety Solutions.
Direct Safety Solutions is a health and safety consultancy based in the West Midlands serving employers in various sectors. The company offers audits, the requirement of policies and management systems, risk assessments, training, and ongoing support packages.
According to NFP, the acquisition will allow it to integrate customized health and safety offerings with its existing commercial insurance, worker benefits, and human resources services.
As part of the transaction, Direct Safety Solutions managing director Jonathan Williams will join NFP’s administration team in the UK.

The move comes shortly after NFP made its first healthcare-related acquisition in Ireland with the purchase of Tailored Finance Limited. Established in 2008, the Dublin-based firm posted gross written annual premiums at €25 million in 2021.
