Risk Strategies, a national speciality insurance brokerage, has named Paul Evans as an executive vice president in its national entertainment practise.
Evans has more than 30 years of expertise in the field. He comes to Risk Strategies after working at Marsh in the hospitality, media, and entertainment industry practise. Evans, a London native, previously oversaw HSBC’s UK and European sports, media, and entertainment division before joining Marsh.
Evans will largely focus on advertising, content production, and contingency business in his new job.
“We’re ecstatic that Paul has chosen to join the Risk Strategies family,” said Bob Dubraski, Risk Strategies’ chief growth officer. “Paul brings a wealth of experience to the entertainment practise team.”
Evans has experience in a variety of fields, including cinema, television, advertising, inclement weather, prize indemnity, brand reputational risk, and more.
“Paul’s extensive experience in the entertainment sector will be of immediate and significant assistance to our clients,” said John Hamby, Risk Strategies’ entertainment practise leader.
“As someone who has exclusively worked in sports, media, and entertainment insurance for the past three decades, I saw Risk Strategies as a true speciality brokerage where I could collaborate with other professionals to produce successful solutions for complicated client situations,” Evans said. “I’m thrilled to be a part of the Risk Strategies team.”
