RSA Insurance To Rebrand As Intact Insurance By End Of 2025

RSA Insurance has announced plans to rebrand as Intact Insurance by the end of 2025, aligning its identity with that of its Canadian parent company, Intact Financial Corporation. The move represents a significant step in unifying the group’s operations under a single global brand.

The rebrand is part of a wider strategic initiative aimed at enhancing consistency across Intact’s international businesses, according to a company statement. Founded in 1710 as the Sun Fire Office, RSA has a long history of transformation and innovation. Its most recent milestone came in 2021 with its acquisition by Intact Financial Corporation.

Headquartered in Canada, Intact Financial Corporation is a global leader in specialty insurance and the top provider of commercial insurance in the UK and Ireland. The group writes approximately CA$24 billion in annual direct premiums and employs around 31,000 people worldwide. Its growth has been driven by a combination of organic expansion and strategic acquisitions.

Ken Norgrove, CEO of RSA UK & International, described the rebrand as a “strategic evolution,” following the integration of RSA, NIG, and FarmWeb earlier in 2024.

During the transition, RSA will continue to serve its customers without any immediate changes to policies or service arrangements. The company emphasized that the rebrand is designed to support its long-term vision and better reflect the scale and ambition of the broader Intact group.
