SCOR P&C has announced the appointment of Arta Nasradini as its new head of aviation, effective February 1, 2025. Based in Zurich, Nasradini will become a member of SCOR’s reinsurance specialty lines management team and will report directly to Eric Jenck, the company’s head of specialty lines.
Nasradini brings a wealth of expertise in underwriting aviation risks to her new role. Prior to joining SCOR, she led the DACH Aerospace portfolio team at AIG. She also has extensive experience from her time at Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, where she held various positions in aerospace underwriting. Her work at Swiss Re spanned client management, product development, portfolio steering, and underwriting, across locations including Munich, Paris, and London.
Nasradini holds a dual degree in international management and finance from Hochschule Augsburg in Germany and Ecole Supérieure de Commerce Extérieur in France, further highlighting her strong academic background.
Jenck also acknowledged Adrian Poxon, who led the company’s aviation, engineering, and marine specialty lines underwriting teams until his retirement at the end of 2024.
In related news, AM Best recently affirmed the credit ratings of SCOR SE and its main subsidiaries, assigning a stable outlook after removing them from review. This follows a detailed evaluation of the company’s recent financial adjustments and strategic changes within its life and health (L&H) business. SCOR’s ratings had been under review since July 2024, when the company announced a reassessment of its L&H reserving assumptions alongside its second-quarter results.
