Send Technology Solutions Ltd (Send) has appointed Laura Wathen as its new chief financial officer (CFO) to steer the company through its next stage of growth and accelerate international expansion.
Wathen brings a wealth of experience in financial leadership, fundraising, and strategic growth, having worked across investment banking, venture capital, and private equity before transitioning into operational finance. She has successfully led multiple Series A and B funding rounds for high-growth start-ups and scale-ups, most recently serving as CFO at FinTech platform Funding Xchange. In 2024, she played a pivotal role in securing Series B investment from Barclays and Foresight.
In her new role at Send, Wathen will oversee financial operations, investor relations, capital strategy, and the development of scalable financial infrastructure to support the company’s global ambitions.
