The Clear Group has announced the consolidation of its Sheffield-based businesses—IFM, ProAktive Sheffield, and Peter Hoare Insurance Brokers—into a new central office located at MBP2, Meadowhall Business Park, Carbrook Hall Road, Sheffield S9 2EQ.
This strategic move brings all three brands under one roof, strengthening Clear’s regional presence and enhancing collaboration across its operations in South Yorkshire. The newly combined office also includes Clear Risk Management—formerly ProAktive—further expanding the group’s Insurance and Risk Management services in the area.
Clear Group described the relocation as a significant step in its efforts to build a more unified and resourceful regional footprint. Clients will benefit from easier access to a broader suite of insurance products and specialist services, all backed by the group’s national capabilities. The Sheffield site now serves as Clear’s second major hub in South Yorkshire, complementing its established presence in Doncaster.
Ongoing Growth Across the UK
The Sheffield relocation marks another milestone in The Clear Group’s ongoing national expansion. In October, the company acquired A-One Insurance Group, a leading commercial broker with seven offices across southern England and a team of over 150 professionals. The acquisition contributed an additional £50 million in gross written premium to Clear’s portfolio, significantly boosting its market share.
Clear has also taken steps to streamline its underwriting operations. Last month, it rebranded its managing general agent (MGA) division as Shape Underwriting, merging the former Profile Underwriting and One Commercial Specialty brands under a single identity.
These developments reflect The Clear Group’s broader strategy to scale efficiently, integrate regional expertise, and offer comprehensive insurance solutions nationwide.
